Those who choose to run aftermarket filters (Like me!) This item sits damned close to the bonnet to seal the filter from engine bay heat and only allow it to bring in cold air from the stock intake location. I can also supply a rubber topper to those who do not run the under bonnet cloth/sound deadening, but as I run the deadening I prefer it looking bright and without the rubber top. Personal preference really.

This utilises your stock airbox locations and bolts, so it’s a straight fit item. The hole for the filter location is in a generic place which fits the TT perfectly using an additional pipe to your air filter. It all depends on your setup, and what filter you choose. To make it fit perfectly, and if you haven’t already bought a filter I reconmend these:

K&N Item RE-910 – http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod…x?prod=RE-0910 (This is a 3″ fit, 8″ long, 5″ wide tapering to 4.6″ – no filter larger than this will fit between the heat shield and slam panel/headlamp)

3″ 45degree aluminum Elbow – http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3709067161…84.m1423.l2649

The pipe will require cutting to length. Of course, with that pipe, any universal 3″ fitment filter will fit. Wolfbitz sell them I believe

Kind regards.
